The focus on this contest is fun and raising money and awareness for Child’s Play, which means then that we wanted to find some balance between challenge and laid back. Please have a look, and feel free to contact us if you’d like to compete - bands must have tickets, but since the ticket system isn’t up, anybody wanting to get a jump on things can contact us to get the ball rolling.

CALL FOR SPONSORS

We’re pleased to be presenting Cthulhupalooza as a fundraiser with partial proceeds to Child’s Play charity (http://www.childsplaycharity. org/) and BC Children’s Hospital. Child’s Play is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in our network of over 40 hospitals worldwide including BC Children’s Hospital.

Currently, we are asking for sponsors to provide prizes for the contest, to help us advertise, and in general to promote exposure for the event and all things nerdy and Lovecraftian. For prizes, we will gladly accept stock, gift certificates, webstore credit, and the like.

In exchange for your sponsorship we will gladly advertise your company on our posters, website and of course, a big thank you at the show. A theatre showing Lovecraft films and music videos! Rock Band on the big screen! A giant-sized performance by The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets! It’s going to be awesome!

All we need is an audience! And you can help. For starters, please come. And bring friends.
